Meet our Clinicians

A team of clinicians providing individual, couples, and group psychotherapy through focused, relational, and evidence-informed care.

Stephen Haramis, LCSW-R, C-PD

Psychotherapist, Practice Owner

Stephen Haramis is a psychotherapist with over eleven years of direct clinical practice. Prior to his work as a therapist, his experience was enriched by providing human services work in a variety of other settings for seven years. He received his graduate training through the Greater Rochester Collaborative MSW Program at Nazareth University, the RIT Psychotherapy Training Program and completed advanced training in group psychotherapy through the University of Rochester Medical Center while working within the Department of Psychiatry.

Stephen’s clinical background includes work in emergency settings, outpatient psychiatry at URMC, and private practice. He currently provides individual therapy, couples and family therapy, and interpersonal process group therapy. He is particularly known for his specialization in obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and for his strong emphasis on group therapy as a powerful vehicle for insight and change. His training also includes advanced post-graduate study in the assessment and treatment of personality psychopathology, supporting thoughtful and structured work with complex and enduring relational patterns.

Stephen’s therapeutic style is thoughtful, precise, and analytical. He works collaboratively with clients to understand patterns of thinking, behavior, and relationship, approaching therapy with focus and intellectual rigor rather than a purely supportive or directive stance. While his approach is grounded and direct, he is deeply committed to his clients’ growth and to providing care that is intentional, responsive, and sustained over time.

Outside of clinical work, Stephen enjoys training his dog, playing piano, painting, and spending time outdoors hiking. These interests reflect a broader appreciation for discipline, creativity, and steady engagement—qualities that also inform his work as a therapist

Prior to becoming a therapist, Andrea practiced law for over 30 years, providing legal counsel to individuals and families experiencing domestic difficulties, and later working in the court system with attorneys facing personal and professional challenges.

Andrea’s clinical background includes working with students in the college setting, group therapy for adults, and in private practice where she treats individuals and couples of all ages. She provides support for clients who are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, obsessive-compulsive disorder, co-parenting challenges, and life transitions.

She works collaboratively with clients to develop a better understanding of their challenges and help them create positive changes in their lives.
